TWO STORIES ON PARIS | MAGAZIN
Joachim Negwer, Editor in Chief of the ADAC reisemagazine in Hamburg, assigned two stories for the upcoming edition on Paris, "The Louvre" and "Montmartre". I took the photographs last fall and have just finished editing and completed delivery. The Paris reisemagazine will hit bookstores and newsstands on 28|08|2007.
After his training as an edp organizer, he set off on a two-year journey from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. It was not until 1983 that he started working with photography as an autodidact.
His perception of photography has strongly been marked by the intensive cooperation with the reportage magazine GEO, a collaboration that started in 1985 and is still going on today. He has been in charge of the editing of GEO's supplement for the Austrian edition since 1994.
For some years, Lammerhuber also wrote texts for the radio stations OE1 and BR2.
Lammerhuber published some 2.000 photo reportages and 30 books;
Lammerhuber has received numerous prizes; in particular, he was awarded three times the Graphis Photo Award for the best reportage of the year (reportages on "Mother Teresa","The end of the Intifada" and "The journey of Pope John II to Santo Domingo on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America").
Lois lammerhuber has been a member of the New York Art Directors Club since 1994.
Over the years, Lammerhuber has built up one of Austria’s most important Photo Collections, with the objective to assemble the key works of the history of photography.
